TECHNONICOL provides new opportunities for the development of BIM-technologies

27.02.2018 TECHNONICOL Corporation has placed the BIM-designed building systems in the public library BIMLIB. Designers got access to a large selection of ready «families» of enclosing structures for Autodesk Revit. For their part, developers could assess the benefits of certain solutions.

According to the worldwide experience, BIM technologies can improve the efficiency of processes at all stages of the building’s life cycle. Changing one parameter automatically modifies the entire information model. Calculations turn out to be accurate, and design time can be essentially reduced. Experts say that using BIM technologies can reduce up to 20% of the estimated cost. Using the TECHNONICOL construction systems adapted for 3D-design makes the advantages even more obvious.

«Families» of flat and pitched roofs, foundations, facades, walls and floors for Autodesk Revit in BIMLIB comply with certified TECHNONICOL systems. All components are selected by qualified engineers, taking into account such criteria as maximum efficiency, ease of installation, ease of use and economic feasibility. Designers can use BIMLIB library when seeking efficient solutions, considering the specific characteristics of systems and particular materials.

«The development of information modeling technologies and the use of ready 3D models of building systems can become a competitive advantage for designers and developers," said Anton Shelestov, Head of the TECHNONICOL Design and Settlement Center.
